The Huawei P50 Pocket is a foldable clamshell that Huawei will unveil on December 23. We’ve seen leaked images of it, renders, and official confirmation of the announcement. But so far we have little news about the inside.
We are now learning that the Galaxy Z Flip3 5G rival will have a bigger indoor display, a bigger battery with faster charging and more cameras.
Starting with the screen – the inside has a 6.85 inch diagonal while the outside is a 1 inch circular screen. There are three cameras underneath that cover the screen – a 50MP IMX766 main camera, 13MP ultrawide and 8MP 3x zoom units.
The P50 Pocket is powered by a Kirin 9000 chipset which is limited to 4G connectivity.
Power is provided by a 4,100mAh battery that can be recharged at 66W, putting the 15W Galaxy Z Flip3 5G to shame.
We’ll be filling in the rest of the blanks later this week when the P50 Pocket is revealed.
