Reno7 Pro 5G
The Oppo Reno7 Pro 5G is the best of the three Reno7 phones. It has the MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Max chipset paired with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM. Both configurations start at 256 GB of storage.
On the front, the Reno7 Pro 5G has a 6.55-inch AMOLED with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and a built-in fingerprint scanner. The screen has a resolution of 1080p and can reach up to 800 nits of brightness in direct sunlight.
On the back is a 50MP Sony IMX766 1/1.56-inch main camera, an ultra-wide unit and a 2MP macro shooter. On the front is a 32 MP IMX709 selfie camera.
The camera island is surrounded by a breathing LED that doubles as a notification LED. Oppo supplies the phones with ColorOS 12, based on Android 12.
Oppo Reno7 Pro 5G
The Reno7 Pro 5G has a 4,500mAh battery with 65W charging. Prices for the 8/256GB and 12/256GB are CNY 3,699 and CNY 3,999.
The Oppo Reno7 5G shares many of the Pro specs. The battery has the same capacity of 4,500 mAh, but charges a little slower at 60 W.
The Reno7 5G also has a 90Hz 1080p AMOLED, but it’s smaller at 6.43 inches.
The main camera has a 64 MP sensor but is still accompanied by 8 MP ultrawide and 2 MP macro units. On the front, it’s the same 32MP selfie.
The processor inside is a Snapdragon 778G with 8GB or 12GB RAM with an option of 8/128GB, 8/256GB or 12/256GB configured storage.
Prices of the Reno7 5G start from CNY 2,699.
Reno7 SE 5G
Finally we get to the Reno7 SE 5G. It has the same 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate as the Reno7 5G. It also matches the battery capacity of 4,500 mAh, only it charges at just 33 W.
There is a Dimensity 900 with 8 GB of RAM and an option of 128 GB or 256 GB of storage.
The cameras are a 48MP IMX581, mated to a duo of 2MP sensors – one for macro, the other for depth sensing.
It is not yet known when the Reno7 series will come out of China, but that should be in early 2022.
